When sending out emails without a template, is there a way to put in merge fields? (first name)
If not, can you please add?

There are currently “Merge fields” (we call them “Wildcards) available in the Marketing Automation system when creating emails there…..However right now, those merge fields are not available in a “1 off” or Batch email you send from the student list for example.
However, it’s in our near term development roadmap to add them “everywhere”.
