Staff Time Clock

My school is UDO and we use the staff time clock with finger print, but finger print malfunctions alot so we want to add manual time in; however, when staff time in manualy it gives them the option to change the time the clock in. (Allow Staff to Create/Edit Manually) I would like it to be so that the staff can only create and not edit. The reason is that we have alot of young leadership, and I do not want to give them the oppurtunity to make a mistake.

This is a great idea!

In fact, it’s already on our roadmap to restrict this ability, and give the owner the ability to select whether the user ‘can’ edit this or not.

Yes, the fingerprint reader is relatively ‘old’ technology, that Microsoft isn’t supporting very well, and we’ve seen a good few issues with it. Phasing out it’s usage is a good idea. We’re not sure how long it will be supported. We’ll keep everyone informed as we know more.
