KeymasterHi Guys,
The way this works is you have a choice as to where a buyer ends up after you delete an agreement. Some folks would like for the buyer to become prospects so they can try and re-engage them for future business. Sometimes though the buyer may move away or you believe they will most likely never return to the school. In this case you might not want them to be a prospect and be subject to the automation sequences. Therefore they should be removed from the system.
There are two options that help you decide what to do:
- Delete Agreement will remove the agreement you are trying to delete and convert the buyer to a prospect. Therefore the buyer will no longer show up in the agreements/buyers list but will show up in the prospects list.
- Delete People will remove the agreement you are trying to delete as well but will also delete the buyer associated with this agreement.
NOTE: There is one exception to the above rules. If the buyer is on another active agreement then the buyer will not be converted to a prospect nor will it be deleted. Makes sense right? You are trying to delete an agreement but if that person is a buyer for a different agreement then you certainly do not want the buyer to disappear from the agreements list.
I hope this helps and let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you for being an ATLAS professional!

KeymasterHi Anissa,
I believe there are two things here. One is, um… why doesn’t Atlas calculate Age correctly… This will be fixed!!!
The other is do you want age showing up on the check-in. The challange here is if there are more than one students with the same name we need a way to tell the difference between them when they try to check-in. Perhaps I could ask… Is there a better way to do this? Or is there a better data element that can help them tell the difference when checking in!
Thank you for all you help!

KeymasterHi Anissa,
This is a great idea. We are looking into adding some functionality to easily show this information. We did add the ability to click on the person and open their profile so you could in essence do the same thing. This is added to our fix-it list and you should see it soon.

KeymasterHi Anissa,
I have added my comments below. Thank you so much for all your help on this!

1. I would like a true payment history report to also include the students name.
Would this be something different then what you get with the AMSaccounts reports? Please advise.
2. When I’m making a new agreement, which fields are mandatory? They should have an asterisk (*) or be in red
The mandatory fields are marked with a orange/red border around the field.
3. In the Declines can an action be to Pay at School not just to change CC info
We have added this to our fix it list. Thanks!
4. In the agreement list, can their be a column that says what program that agreement is for?
We have added this to our fix it list. Thanks!
5. Can I input the payment amount without having to know the course fee. Must I use the fee calculator…?
No you don’t have to use the fee calculator. You can enter the fee right on the form.
6. PER MASTER PELT: change the terminology in agreement — Service Charge to Down Payment– and –Down Payment to Amount Paid–
Not sure what this is here. It kind of doesn’t align with the functionality of the app so I will need additional information.
7. To print appointments I used to go to calendar, list view, filter dates and then print. How can I do this? It was the only way to be able to print appointments and see the comments. Or can you make it so the appointment report prints the comments
We have added this to our fix it list. Thanks!

KeymasterHi Jeremiah,
We are looking into adding the eRequest for the Students and Buyers lists. Having all the Action buttons have the same functionality would be difficult because different types of people have different functions. Did you know that on the top of each profile is a link to the different types of profiles? For example if you have a person who is a buyer and a student you can switch back and forth between the buyer profile and the student profile to get quick access to these functions. We are working on making any functions that are shared among all types of folks show up on all of the relevant action buttons.
Thanks for your help and I’ll let you know what we come up with.

KeymasterHi Annisa,
I am going over these to take a look where the gaps might be. Give me some time and I will let you know where we are on these.
