#1 – AutoRenew
Yes, we are already working on a new set of features that includes the Auto-Renewal options for all types of agreements.

It’s part of a large update we’ll be doing with ATLAS in the near future. I can’t give you a timeline on that, but we are well underway with this, and hope to have it out to all our users soon!

#2 – Multi Site “Check In”
I’ll double check, but I’m pretty sure we have this on our roadmap, but I’ll make sure it’s there, and that we note there is another request for this.

First, I’m sorry I didn’t see this message sooner, for some reason, the notification got shoved into my spam folder….I’ll have to solve that! I apologize!

I think I understand what you’re trying to accomplish.

Ranks are ‘associated’ with the ‘rank’ the student was when they attended class. For example, if I’m a blue belt, and I take a class, the system believes I took that class ‘as’ a blue belt. If I then get promoted to brown belt, the classes/attendances I have ‘As’ a blue belt will NOT count as required attendance credit toward my Brown Belt.

When you advance someone’s rank, their previous attendance history is NOT ‘deleted’ (so perhaps the warning is poorly phrased), but rather, those ‘previous’ classes are simply not ‘counted’ in the new rank….essentially ‘resetting’ their attendances in the new rank back to 0.

You CAN still look at the students timeline, and see all their previous attendances. So if you want to give them ‘credit’ for some number of attendances on their new rank, you totally can do that as you see fit.

This is a great idea!

In fact, it’s already on our roadmap to restrict this ability, and give the owner the ability to select whether the user ‘can’ edit this or not.

Yes, the fingerprint reader is relatively ‘old’ technology, that Microsoft isn’t supporting very well, and we’ve seen a good few issues with it. Phasing out it’s usage is a good idea. We’re not sure how long it will be supported. We’ll keep everyone informed as we know more.

I’m thrilled that you’re digging into the system, for the most part, there are many, many features and time saving tweaks that folks never really get into…so KEEP GOING!!! :>)

I’m not at all disturbed, this is a great forum, I just wanted to make sure you knew you can also reach out to the team, any time, and they can help as well. Sometimes it’s hard to explain/understand the nuance of an issue with ‘text’ only…..but PLEASE, feel free to make use of this forum in any way that might be helpful for you all!

This is an interesting issue….Could you please email one of the team a screenshot of the specific “Saved View” you are trying to use. I can track it back form there, and see what’s going on.

Hi there!!
Your system will support “any” number of ranks you like.
You can have hundreds, and hundreds of levels of Black Belt if you like.

Please give our team a call here at headquarters (1-800-275-1600) and they can help you, or you can go into “School Set Up” -> “Programs/Ranks” and choose the Style you want to add a Rank to. Hit the “Edit” button, and there you can add as many Degrees of Black Belt as you like!

Yes,
The system does interpret a tip as a “Rank”…but NOT as a “Belt”.
So you’d want to look for Classes since last BELT Earned.

You know, the more I thought about what you were describing, the more I realized that this feature already exists, BUT, we need to implement in ‘more’ places.

Try this:
Go to the “People” list, and find the student you want to promote.
Then (staying on the list) follow this image:

 

Let me know if this is what you were looking for!

We also need to add this to the Person Profile, and perhaps a couple other places, but I think this “does” the thing you’re trying to do?
