KeymasterThis is a really good idea.
I’ll be sure we get this into the feature request system. Thanks for the feedback!
Love it!Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterOh, I see!
I’ll get the team together and see what we might be able to come up with for this workflow. Cool concept! You might try to make Tags and Tag Categories that meet the ‘core’ groupings and stages you want to use….that might at least get them into the right ‘buckets’ that you can sort against.
Thanks for the feedback!!
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterGlad that helped.
On the other item…we ‘might’ have you covered there too….
Did you see this widget on the person profile?
This will display the last 3 notes on a give person.
Does that help??
Perhaps having the ‘filter’ available on this timeline “Activity” widget would help as well?? (I’ll add that to our roadmap)
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterThis is all now visible in the “Sent” List, and in the Person Profile “Timeline”.
Thanks for your help on this!!
These new additions should solve this in several ways.More to come!

KeymasterYou can now add up to 3 more email addresses per “Contact” of any type (including students), and you can designate any or all of them to be ‘included’ when sending emails to that contact/student.
Please let us know if there are any other nuances that might be helpful as well!
Thanks a million for the feedback and request!
We SINCERELY appreciate it!

KeymasterI think I’m understanding what you’re describing on the “Notes Separation”:
Try this:If you click the “View All” button on the timeline, and you’ll be able to filter out or in any category of timeline item. You can filter out all the emails, or see ‘only’ the notes etc.
Does this accomplish what you’re trying to do?

KeymasterAt this time, no, there is not a ‘sign out’ system for parents to check children ‘out’ of a class or camp.
This is something that is on our development roadmap, HOWEVER, PLEASE BE WARNED: one of the reasons that we do not have this feature ‘yet’ in our system is that in many states, the compliance landscape for ‘After School Programs’ is nuanced.
I don’t know how your school operates, or what programs you offer, but in some states, transported after school programs are allowed in a bit of a ‘grey area’, where the programs have to be considered a “Free to Come and Go” program (similar to the Boys and Girls Club etc…).
In light of this, “if” you are requiring students to ‘stay’ in the school, and requiring parents to ‘sign them out’ of the ASP…you may be in ‘non-compliance’ with this free to come and go exception.
I’m NOT a lawyer, and certainly not YOUR lawyer, but you may want to be thoughtful about your compliance strategy.
We definitely do plan to release a sign out system in the future, but there are some serious strategic ramifications for schools in some areas.
Thanks for the feedback!!!

KeymasterList Segmentation:
I ‘think’ I’m understanding what you’re trying to accomplish.
So you have a list of, say, all your prospects, and you want to ‘not show’ those that you know to be ‘not-interested’ or some other criteria.
You might consider using ‘tags’ for this. There is a filter for “Does Not Have Tag”, and “Has Tag”. So if you create a tag “Not Interested”, you could filter the list to ‘not’ show them.
Tags are pretty flexible in this regard, and soon, you’ll be able to apply and remove them with system actions.
For testing, I’d propose a similar strategy. I use ‘tags’ to track the “Stripes” on students’ belts that qualify them for testing. So when they have all the requisite tags, they are ‘ready’ for testing. I sort the list looking for those who have all the tags, and that’s my list.
Do you think this might get you the list(s) you need?
Notes in List:
Great idea to have the ‘notes’ visible in the list.
We have something similar on our roadmap already, and I’ll be honest with you, we’re not exactly sure ‘how’ to display, what can be many, many, notes in the grid format.
For example, if there are 50 notes in their history, we’d likely sort them from youngest to oldest….and then we’d have to collapse the grid element in some way so that 1 row isn’t super long…..so you’d have to ‘drill into’ the grid element anyway. We’ll put some more brain power into this idea.
Thanks!!
As always, our LIVE support team is here to help!
You can call our team here at 800-275-1600 and they can help you though any issues you might have, or answer any questions you might have!
I’ll have someone reach out to you and touch base on these items.
Sincerely, thank you for the suggestions, we truly appreciate it!

KeymasterGreat Idea.
We’ll add this to the roadmap.
Thanks!

KeymasterHi StarGlave:
You know…we’ve had internal discussions about facial recognition attendance for several years now.
We’ve been a little hesitant to implement such a feature, although we’ve actually done a lot of research on it, and have stubbed out some proof of concept systems that have been interesting…but we’ve not implemented such a system because of the security ‘concerns’ we heard from parents when we surveyed them.
We talked with more than 500 parents of martial arts students, and found that more than 68% have ‘serious’ or ‘moderate’ concerns about having their children’s facial recognition ‘data’ captured and used in systems like this.
HOWEVER, we did all this research a couple years ago, and perhaps general sentiment has changed over this time??
I really appreciate your feedback, and we’ll look deeper into the current state of the market, and see if this is something we should consider more deeply.
Thanks!

KeymasterGreat!

KeymasterHi There!
Yes!!!
I agree!
We have a plan on our roadmap to allow you much more ‘granular’ control over what appointments are displayed on the forms. I can’t give you a concrete sense of when we’ll roll that out, but it is on the near term roadmap.
There MIGHT be some ways you can achieve what you’re trying to do with a little code, and my team might be able to help you. Let’s get you on the phone with one of our tier 3 folks, and see if we can solve this for you.
I’m not sure it’s possible, kind of depends on some details I’m not sure of, but let’s take a look and see if there is a workaround for the time being.
I’ll have the team reach out to you, and set something up.
Thanks!!

KeymasterHi There! It’s a great thought!
However, today, it’s not ‘possible’ to send video ‘inside’ an email message. This is not a restriction that ‘we’ have, but a global issue with email in general.
However, there are several possible alternatives.
1 – You can include a “Gif” (animated if you like), or “Jpeg” (or other image format), for example a ‘screenshot’ of the Video, that then ‘links’ to the actual video on your website…so when an email recipient clicks that email (I like to put a big “Play” button on the Image), they will be redirected to the video on your site.
Here are a couple FREE online tools you can use to do some of this:
Create Animated GIF from Video:
https://imgflip.com/gif-makerPut Play Button on Images:
http://addplaybuttontoimage.way4info.net/2 – You can put any other type of “link” in your email. For example something like:
Check out the video, and let us know if you have any other questions!!
Thanks for the feedback!
