KeymasterFrom you’re description, I think I can explain the confusion. (It’s nuanced)
If you click the “Label” above the spinner (“Trial Conversions”), it’ll show you how the calculations are handled.
In this case, it looks like you’ve had 4 trials from only 2 leads…therefore 200%.
So, you’re describing where you’ve only done 2 “official” trials, but a few enrollments (seems like 2)…..so, in order to keep fidelity in your school statistics (conversions from trial to enrollment), ATLAS calculates a “Trial” for every enrollment IF they ‘skip’ the trial stage (only for the purpose of stat calculation).
This way, you’ll have an accurate calculation.
If it did NOT do this….you’d have artificially high “Enrollment” conversion rates, if any student(s) skip the trial step.
For example, student walks in the door and simply signs up.
If we didn’t count them as a trial, you’d have a 1000% enrollment rate (1 enrollment for 0 trials….), but really, what you want is a 100% enrollment rate (1 enrollment for 1 trial).
In this case, ATLAS is helping keep the stats accurate for you……although I certainly see where it could be confused.

Is that making sense??
We’ll add some more descriptive content here to explain this better.

KeymasterHey Sir!
I think I’m following.
Are you thinking that the tuition for 2 students would be “halved” if one student is put on hold?
If that’s what you’re describing, there is a bit of a hang up handling this as you’re describing that we’ve encountered over the years.
Many schools have different configurations for how ‘much’ of the tuition is charged to each student. For example, if you have the 1st student who enrolls pays “full” price and the 2nd student get’s a 10% discount etc….. (This type of structure is quite common in our industry)
Then if one student (any student) is put ‘on hold’, you’d only want to reduce the payment for the contract by 40%….not “Half”.
From there, there are MANY permutation of how schools handle family tuition.
In the current structure, you decide how much you want to reduce the tuition when putting any number of students on hold.
Does that make sense??
Are there other factors I’m not seeing?? Perhaps a smoother way to handle?
Thanks!

KeymasterSir,
I followed your steps in our demo school in order to avoid having to altering your attendance records after testing. After several attempts following your directions, I wasn’t able to replicate this. Perhaps there is a time when I or another of the support team can reach you and open a Join.me session so we can see the behavior first hand.
Have a great rest of your Monday evening!
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterHey Sir!
Good news on this one.
We “DeDup” the emails for you. If you send the “same email at the same time” to the same email address more than once, our system detects the duplicate, and only sends the first one. (They built that in a few years ago to solve some spam issues.)
Now…..in the very near future, we’ll have “multiple” (unlimited) emails per person “without” using custom fields. This is already on our development roadmap.
This will/does cause a bit of an conundrum if they have say, 4 or 5 emails per person…..”Which” email do I send to……but we’ll have a solution to that too. 😉
Once again….you’re thinking just like us!!
Thanks again!

KeymasterHi Sir!
We’re not seeing a “global” issue with loading drafts….so I’m going to have one of our team reach out to you to troubleshoot this!
(Or, if you get this please give our team a call – 800-275-1600)
Thanks!
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterHeh…thanks.
Yes, we’re actually in QA on the ‘new’ People list starting today….and this is the behavior we all want too….I’ll keep you in the loop on the roll out.
Stand by!
Thanks!
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterHey Sir!
This looks like it’s functioning correctly.
If you click the ‘label’ above any of the ‘spinners’, you’ll see the explanation of the calculation(s).
In this case, the trial conversion rate is describing how effective your trial process is.
Dividing how many ‘trials’ you did, but how many leads that were created this month.
For example:
If you generated 10 prospects this month, and 10 did trials, your trial conversion rate would be 50%.
In your case, you’ve registered MORE trials than you’ve had leads…therefore the percentage is ‘over’ 100%. (22 trials / 16 Prospects = 137% )
Make sense??
Let me know if you have any questions.

P.S. I’m moving this thread to the Tech Support forum.

KeymasterI see the issue.
I’ve updated your style, rank, program and team names to “not” use the single quote mark ” ‘ ” in Lil’.
This was causing an issue in a new list filter.
I’ve removed those character for now, and we’ll have the dev team roll out a more elegant solution asap.
You should be good to go.
Thanks again!!!
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterHmmm…..Oh..I see…..essentially the “Tab” order.
Got it…this is not the expected behavior.
I’ll put in a ticket for the Dev team.
Thanks!!
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterMike!
Can you expand on this please??Would love to know what you’re describing.
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterHi Sir!
Thanks for the clear outline of what you’re seeing! It helps us a LOT.
You bet….You’re observation is RIGHT in line with where we are going.
We’re about 90% done developing a new “People” list (Similar to the Student List), and we’re adjusting this behavior.
If you look at the “Add Attendance” option in the Action Menu…that’s the behavior I think you’re expecting…and that’s what we’ll be implementing in the rest of the options as well.
Seems like we’re on the same page!
I’ll let you know when this rolls out.
Thanks!

KeymasterOur latest update (last Saturday) should solve this issue.
Please let us know if you see this again.
Thanks!
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterHi Sir!
We pushed out some updates over the weekend, and this issue should now be solved.
PLEASE let me know if you see anything strange!
P.S. I’m closing this ticket for now.
Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterHmmm…I popped into your system…and I’m seeing what you’re describing.
I ‘think’ it’s missing a character if you type ‘quickly’.
I’ve escalated this to Dev. Please stand by.
P.S. – I’m moving this to the “Support” forum.

Master Toby Milroy
KeymasterHi Sir!
Great suggestion.
We actually have this type of ‘parent-child’ (Connected Records) structure on our development roadmap already, but I’ll put in another ‘vote’ from you.
Essentially it’s an expansion on the “Phone Sheet” structure…where the “child” (prospective Student) is part of the “Buyer” record. The current implementation needs some work….and the way you’re describing it it the direction we’re going.
Keep the great ideas coming!
Thanks!
