  Can there be a way to display which finger a student registered?
  
  IE L1, L2, L3, L4, L5 where L=left & 1=thumb…5=little finger same for Right=R

  This is interesting.
  
  What most of our folks do is use the same finger for everyone, and then the thumb for small children.
  
  Let me know if that is at all helpful.

  It does help a bit.
  
  Interestingly enough I have a couple of students whose fingerprints don’t register. One basically doesn’t have visible fingerprints and we had to check all fingers to see if we could get one to read.
  
  I will try to rescan the thumbprints for some of the children.
