      I understand that the current set up is that you can put an email in for the buyer and an email in for the student so that there are two emails for an account. The issue is that when you set up your mailing groups there are times with the buyer email is the same as the student email. So in order to do make sure both emails get the information you have to add ‘Buyers’ and ‘Students’. The issue is that some emails are the same for both buyers and students, this will cause duplicate emails to be sent.

      We need to have a way to allow students or buyers to have up 2 (maybe even 3) email addresses or have the functionality built in that will reject the sending emails to a duplicate address.

      Hey Sir!

      Good news on this one.

      We “DeDup” the emails for you. If you send the “same email at the same time” to the same email address more than once, our system detects the duplicate, and only sends the first one. (They built that in a few years ago to solve some spam issues.)

      Now…..in the very near future, we’ll have “multiple” (unlimited) emails per person “without” using custom fields. This is already on our development roadmap.

      This will/does cause a bit of an conundrum if they have say, 4 or 5 emails per person…..”Which” email do I send to……but we’ll have a solution to that too. 😉
