Finding your google analytics code

Overview

This Knowledge Base article covers finding your previously generated Google Analytics Tracking ID as well as the Tracking JS code. The information in this article is valid as of July 2018.

Step-By-Step

  1. First Log into your Google Analytics Account (analytics.google.com) .
  2. The using the left-hand navigation, click on Admin as shown below.
  3. For the Tracking ID Only. Click on Property > Property Settings. The Tracking ID is located on the top of the page.
  4. For the JS Code (used in the <head></head> tags of you website) go to Tracking Info > Tracking Code under Property. The code is located in a text box and you can copy it to paste on your web page.
